Reed diffuser kits are simple to use and provide long-lingering aromas to fill your living spaces with soothing, calming, and familiar scents.
A reed diffuser kit consists of a container either glass, ceramic or other filled with specially scented oil. It contains reeds or wooden sticks which are then put into the oil. The scented oil gets sucked up, like a straw, through these reed channels.
The oil that gets pulled to the top of the reeds releases into the atmosphere through the slow evaporation process. You need to use real "rattan" reeds and not bamboo chutes or skewers, to achieve the best possible effect from the reed diffuser kit.
The specially scented oil is made from a reed diffuser "base" with special fragrance oil added to it. Diffuser oils are usually specially made for use in reed diffusers
